Two Purple Pinecones can be found southeast from the wreck, close to other local Flora and Coral, near the border with the Grassy Plateaus.Īn Alien Arch Cache can be found inside a small cave, in a trench located on the outskirts of the biome along the border with a Kelp Forest. Wreck 9 can also be found in the Northwestern Mushroom Forest. Once you have all three fragments you will be able t. Bonesharks and even some Ampeels can come from the Underwater Islands and the Northern Blood Kelp Zone respectively. In this Subnautica guide, I will be showing you the best locations for the mobile vehicle bay fragments. The player is advised to stay cautious while exploring this area, as Bonesharks tend to lurk in the denser parts of the biome as well as several Reaper Leviathans found along the Dunes border of the Northwestern Mushroom Forest. It is dominated by a single Giant Tree Mushroom, where most of the valuable resources can be found in abundance. This forest borders the Dunes, Northern Blood Kelp Zone, Underwater Islands, Grassy Plateaus and one of the Kelp Forests. The Northwestern Mushroom Forest is the larger of the two Mushroom Forests. Spoiler alert: The following section contains story related material.Īn Alien Vent Entrance Point is found in this Mushroom Forest. This forest is packed with resources, especially Lithium and Shale Outcrops. These caves also connect to one of the Bulb Zone Caves. The numbers can vary, from 2-5 eggs.Īn entrance to the largest Mushroom Forest Caves is located embedded into a cliff, facing the Bulb Zone, below the largest Tree Mushroom. Near the Crash Zone, a small clearing can be found that is home to a large amount of Boneshark Eggs. It is strongly advised to stay away from this small section of the biome as it is highly dangerous. In addition to this, there is always a Reaper Leviathan close to the border with the Mountains and a Kelp Forest, the area near a naturally formed bridge. A Reaper Leviathan that wanders away from the Crash Zone may travel into this biome. Most of the Fauna of the Bulb Zone, including its predators ( Mesmers, Ampeels and Bonesharks) will often wander into the Northeastern Mushroom Forest, making it equally if not more dangerous as the Northwestern one. It is densely packed with Tree Mushrooms and features occasional cliffs that lead down to the Bulb Zone. It is found next to, and nearly underneath the front of the Aurora. I hope that helps. The Northeastern Mushroom Forest is the smaller of the two Mushroom Forests. Generally by the time you go to the Deep Grand Reef you have all your fragments. My favorite wrecks for loading lots of fragments tend to be the sea treader's path, main mountain wreck, and larger grand reef wreck. I like to save that for when it becomes hard rather than waste it, but it's your choice. Once you are down to a few fragments left then you can check out the jellyshroom cave base and hope that the rest load there it seems to load what you need at that time. If you have a lot then start going to the different wrecks and exploring them and around them. If I were you, I'd look at how many fraagments I had left to get. Currently the moonpool looks like plain boxes. You'll also want to look at the ground as you travel because they are scattered about. You can also try the abandoned bases in jellyshroom cave, on the southern floating island or the deep grand reef (but I'm not sure you'll have much luck there). ![]() If you're looking for moonpool fragments like the OP was then you want to try wrecks like the ones in blood kelp, mushroom forest, koosh, floating islands, grand reef, dunes, sea treader's path, and mountains. ![]() ![]() The more advanced tech will be found in the places that are harder to get to. You can find them on the seafloor, in wrecks, on the islands, and in the abandoned seabases. Since the original post is so old it's not really relevant anymore. ![]() Originally posted by Merc:I am at a place that is like 340 deep I found Thermal Plant Fragments and I am at the grand reef but my questions are am I right and are the fragments in the cave systems under the grand reef or on the floor at the grand reef thax for all the response.
